Mahindra XUV700 has established itself as one of India's most popular SUVs since its launch in August 2021. Originally introduced as the second-generation XUV500, the SUV quickly became a market favorite, thanks to its striking design, feature-packed cabin, and impressive performance.
Despite its success, the XUV700 has yet to receive a major update since its debut. However, Mahindra is gearing up for a much-anticipated facelift in 2025, which is likely to be rebranded as XUV 7XO. With potential upgrades in design, technology, and performance, the big question remains—is the upcoming XUV700 facelift worth the wait? Let’s explore what Mahindra has in store!
Mahindra XUV 7XO is expected to be a facelift of the XUV700, launching in 2025, with a focus on a more modern and tech-rich interior. it will share features with the XEV 9e, including a triple-screen setup and a more advanced infotainment system.
The facelifted Mahindra XUV700 is expected to sport a refreshed front fascia with redesigned LED headlamps, a sleeker grille, and a reworked front bumper, enhancing its bold appeal. The rear is also likely to receive subtle upgrades, including updated taillights and a sculpted rear bumper for a more refined look. Additionally, Mahindra may introduce new alloy wheel designs, adding to the SUV’s dynamic stance.
Inside, the XUV700 continues to offer a premium and stylish cabin with a layered dashboard, a sophisticated dual-tone black and beige interior, and soft-touch materials that elevate its luxurious feel. The SUV is equipped with dual HD screens for infotainment and driver information, along with high-end features like a panoramic sunroof and an immersive Sony sound system, ensuring a top-tier in-cabin experience.
The XUV 7XO is expected to retain the same powertrain options as the XUV700, featuring a 2.0-litre turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine. Both engines are likely to be paired with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission choices.
Mahindra is anticipated to introduce a facelifted version of the XUV700, potentially rebranded as the XUV 7XO, in 2025. This updated SUV will compete with rivals like the Mahindra Scorpio N, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos in the Indian market.
