Audi has officially unveiled the sixth-generation A6 sedan, following the recent debut of its estate version, the A6 Avant. Built on Volkswagen’s Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), the new A6 sedan carries forward a sleek design inspired by both its station wagon counterpart and the outgoing model.
While the electric A6 e-tron uses a different Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the combustion-powered A6 stays true to its roots.

Here is everything about the design, features, and performance of the 2025 Audi A6 sedan:
The 2025 Audi A6 features a refreshed exterior with a wider, lower-set single-frame grille and sleek Matrix LED headlights. Aerodynamic updates like side vents, side sills, and a lip spoiler help achieve a drag coefficient of just 0.23. At the rear, OLED tail lights with seven lighting patterns add a modern touch.
Inside, the A6 gets a high-tech cabin with a curved 11.9-inch digital display and a 14.5-inch touchscreen. An optional 10.9-inch screen is available for the front passenger. Comfort features include ventilated and heated front bucket seats, ambient lighting with 84 colours, and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. The rear offers a 40/20/40 split-folding bench seat.
The 2025 Audi A6 is offered with three engine options in the international market. These include a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 236 bhp and 340 Nm of torque, and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine delivering 201 bhp and 400 Nm of torque.
For those seeking more performance, there is a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine that generates 364 bhp and 550 Nm of torque. All engine variants come paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
