Based on the spy shots, the XUV.e9 features DRLs similar to the upcoming XUV.e8 and dynamic turn indicators that are integrated into the taillamps. The charging port is located in the taillamp clusters. Other exterior features include front pop-out door handles and massive alloy wheels. Besides, the EV has a sloping roof and enough boot space.
Moving on to the interior, Mahindra is expected to offer comfortable seats with lumbar and thigh support. The second row will have plenty of space along with air-con blowers.
The biggest highlight is on the inside. The EV is likely to have three big screens for infotainment, the co-passenger, and the instrument cluster. Besides, it will get a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo of Mahindra. The centre console will have knobs and buttons, probably for driving models, e-brake, and traction control.

Mahindra has not revealed any details about the specifications of the upcoming XUV.e9. However, it is said to come equipped with a battery pack of 60-80kWh. Since it will be the premium offering from the brand, the EV is likely to get a larger 80kWh battery pack paired with a powerful electric motor. As for the range, it might offer a potential range of 450-500 km on a single charge.
