Maruti Suzuki showcased its mid-size electric SUV, named eVX concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. Slated to launch by 2025, this first-born electric SUV was spotted testing in Poland in June 2023. According to the latest media reports, Maruti Suzuki has teased the interior design renders of this upcoming eVX, showcasing a revolutionary cabin design.
As seen in the images, the upcoming Maruti eVX will feature a funky two-spoke steering wheel which will be the first time for the brand in India. Additionally, there is a large floating screen on the dashboard housing both the touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Even the centre console will have a floating design, making plenty of storage space for the lower section. Other notable features include vertically stacked AC vents, a rotary dial for the drive modes, and a panoramic sunroof.
Furthermore, the electric SUV will have sporty bucket seats in dual-tone Black and Beige colour. The front and the rear seats have adjustable headrests, however, the production-ready model could offer different seats. Besides, the car is likely to come equipped with ADAS tech though it is not confirmed yet.
The EVX concept was powered by a 60kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This has the capability to offer a range of up to 550 km. In addition, the updated concept with 4×4 tech can provide a range of over 500 km. More details are yet to be revealed.
