As the new financial year kicks off, car enthusiasts have something to cheer about as Maruti Suzuki rolls out enticing discounts on its popular Nexa range. Among the offerings, the spotlight shines on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, a crossover that has captured the hearts of Indian consumers since its debut in April 2023.
For those eyeing the turbo-petrol variants of the Fronx, Maruti Suzuki is extending generous benefits worth up to Rs 68,000. This includes a Cash Discount of Rs 15,000, an exclusive Velocity Edition accessory kit valued at Rs 30,000, an Exchange Bonus of Rs 10,000, and an additional Rs 13,000 as a Corporate benefit. Meanwhile, the regular petrol and CNG variants offer overall benefits of Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000, respectively.
Equipped with a range of features, the Fronx promises an enhanced driving experience. It offers a 9-inch SmartPlay+ touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, Heads-Up Display, auto climate control, ambient lighting, wireless charging, premium audio system from Arkamys, and a 360-degree camera among others.
Under the hood, the Fronx offers two powertrain choices. The first option is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 90 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The second option includes a 1-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine, churning out 100 bhp with 147 Nm of peak torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
For eco-conscious drivers, the Fronx S-CNG variant presents a compelling choice, powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated bi-fuel petrol engine. This can generate 88.5 bhp and 113 Nm of torque in the petrol mode. In the case of CNG, it makes 76.5 bhp with 98.5 Nm torque. Clubbed with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG offers an impressive mileage of 28.51 km/kg.
