Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the Grand Vitara with S-CNG technology. Maruti S-CNG vehicles provide high fuel efficiency, safety, performance, and durability. This S-CNG version of their flagship SUV will be available in Delta and Zeta variants. While the price of the Grand Vitara S-CNG Delta is set at Rs 12.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the Zeta variant is priced at Rs 14.84 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Grand Vitara S-CNG is powered by the Next-Generation K-series 1.5-litre, Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine which produces 103 bhp and 136 Nm of torque in the petrol mode while in the CNG mode, the model delivers a maximum power output of 87 bhp with 121.5 Nm of peak torque. Offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the CNG version of the midsize premium SUV provides an excellent fuel efficiency of 26.6 km/kg.

According to Maruti Suzuki, the Grand Vitara is the only premium CNG SUV to offer a 6-airbag variant for customers. The feature highlights of the Grand Vitara CNG version include the signature SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, inbuilt Suzuki Connect, and more.

In addition, the CNG-powered SUV can be availed through Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at a monthly subscription fee starting from Rs 30,723. This enables customers to get their new car by paying a monthly subscription fee that covers the cost of service & maintenance, complete registration, insurance, and roadside assistance.
On the occasion of this launch, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said “Since its launch in September 2022, the Grand Vitara has received a resounding response from Indian consumers, thanks to its SUV appeal complimented by multiple future-ready powertrains. The introduction of the S-CNG option further expands the appeal of the Grand Vitara. The Grand Vitara S-CNG will contribute to our aggressive plan to widen our green-powertrain offerings, expanding to 14 models.”
