Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Jimny in only 2 variants – Zeta and Alpha. Prices for the SUV start from Rs 12.74 lakh and extend up to Rs 15.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Below is a table with all the variants and their price.
Zeta MT - 12,74,000

From the outside, the new Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door features a boxy and rugged look. The overall design is void of any character line and gets flat surfaces all around. Key highlights of the exterior design include the large bonnet, multi-slat grille, squared-off wheel arches that extend from the body and a horizontal opening boot with the externally mounted spare tyre.
In terms of dimensions, the Jimny 5-door measures 3.98 metres in length, 1.65 meters in width and 1.7 metres in height. The SUV also sports a class-leading wheelbase of 2.6 metres and an unladen ground clearance of 210 mm.

On the inside, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door features a utilitarian cabin with rugged touches. The dashboard features a vertical design with a 9.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and rotary knobs for AC controls. Other interesting bits on the interior include the ‘ARKAMYS’ premium sound system and retro-styled analogue instrument cluster among others.
Maruti is offering the Jimny 5-door with only one petrol engine. The 1.5-litre K15B engine is rated for a maximum power output of 100 bhp and peak torque of 134.2 Nm. Transmission duties on the new model are carried by either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed torque converter automatic.
The new Maruti Suzuki Jimny competes against the likes of the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha in the country.
