Mahindra & Mahindra has officially started customer delivery for BE 6 and XEV 9e. MP Milind Deora and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap were among the first to receive their EVs—Deora got the Made-in-India BE 6, while Kashyap took home the XEV 9e. Their public posts highlighted the growing support for homegrown EVs.
Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV offers two battery options: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh pack, with the 59 kWh version offering a range of 557 km and the 79 kWh version providing 682 km. It has a range of features including ADAS, a digital instrument cluster, and a panoramic glass roof, depending on the variant.
As for the pricing, the BE 6 electric SUV has a starting price of Rs 18.90 lakh for the base model and goes up to Rs 26.90 lakh for the top-end variant. (All prices are ex-showroom).
Mahindra XEV 9e electric SUV coupe comes with two battery packs: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh, with the latter claiming a range of 656 km (ARAI certified) and the former offering 542 km. The XEV 9e boasts features like a 3-screen dashboard, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, and a range of up to 656 km on a single charge.
Mahindra XEV 9e price for the base model starts at Rs. 21.90 Lakh and the top model price goes upto Rs. 30.50 lakh.
