Maruti offers the Jimny in 5 monotones and 2 dual-tone colour options. For the single-colour options, we have Nexa Blue, Sizzling Red, Granite Grey, Bluish Black, and Pearl White. While its dual-tone options include Sizzling Red with Bluish Black and Kinetic Yellow with Bluish Black.
As mentioned above, Maruti has been accepting bookings for the Jimny 5-door since it was revealed at the 2023 Indian Auto Expo for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The automaker recently stated that the SUV has already garnered 30,000 bookings in under 6 months. However, this also means that it will have a fairly long waiting period to get it delivered. According to the latest leaked reports, manual variants will have a waiting period of at least 6 months while the automatic models will stretch to 8 months.
The starting price of the Jimny 5-door is set at Rs 12.74 lakh (ex-showroom) which can go up to Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom). As far as the rivals are concerned, the Maruti Jimny competes against the Force Gurkha and Mahindra Thar in the lifestyle SUV segment.
