MG Motors India has now discontinued the base ‘Super’ variant of its flagship Gloster SUV in India. At present, the Sharp is the new entry-level variant for MG Gloster with a starting price of Rs 38.07 lakh (ex-showroom).
Until now, the 2023 MG Gloster was available with three trims, Super, Sharp, and Savvy. After the discontinuation, the SUV is available only in Sharp and Savvy trims.
The new Sharp variant is available with a seven-seater configuration priced at Rs 38.08 lakh (ex-showroom). While the top-spec Savvy is available in both six-seater and seven-seater configurations with the choice of two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The prices for both are set at Rs 39.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 42.38 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

The Gloster SUV comes equipped with a 2.0-litre diesel engine. It is available in two states of tune. The single-turbo version can generate a power output of 161 bhp and 375 Nm of peak torque and the twin-turbo unit can churn out 215 bhp of power and 480 Nm of torque. The twin-turbo also gets the shift-on-fly 4WD system. Transmission details include an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard across both engine tunes.
