Dacia Duster is a subcompact crossover SUV and pickup truck, known for its value, off-road capabilities, and affordability. Although Dacia is not available in India, Renault has confirmed to launch the new-gen Duster in our country this year. Meanwhile, the SUV was given a much sporty makeover by a German dealer (Carpoint), who named the model Redust Sport Edition. The upgrades from the exterior and interior give the SUV a much more aggressive look. Please note this new Redust edition is unofficial and not provided by the automaker.
Let's have a closer look at what upgrades the dealership has done.
This Redust Sport Edition is given a much more aggressive body kit with a prominent hood scoop, 0.8 inches of extra width added through fender extensions, deeper side skirts, a rear spoiler, and removed roof rails. The SUV is given a sleeker silhouette along with a lowered stance courtesy of KW coilover suspension, 20-inch alloy wheels, and wheel spacers.
The dealer has equipped the SUV with a centrally mounted dual-exhaust system. The exterior of this Redust Edition is wrapped in a striking orange shade combined with a black finish for the plastic cladding and special covers for the back side windows.
As for the interior, the leather seats are offered with bright orange inserts and stitching. The same color theme is given to the dashboard, steering wheel, center console, and door panels. There is also the addition of RGB ambient lighting that resembles a gaming keyboard.
The powertrain has given no upgrade, the Redust Sporty Edition is powered by Renault’s self-charging hybrid system, producing 139.91 BHP.
