Honda India is all set to launch the new-gen Amaze tomorrow. Scheduled to be on sale on December 4, the updated sedan will come with a modern design and premium interior features including the ADAS suite, confirmed by teaser. However, there will be no changes to the powertrain options. Here is the last-minute information before tomorrow's big launch.
Dimensionally, the 2025 Honda Amaze will have similar dimensions to the outgoing sedan. It will be based on the modified platform of Honda City and Elevate, resulting in providing more space and stability.
The new Amaze compact sedan will come in fresh vibrant colour options. Design-wise, it will carry a honeycomb front grille with a bold chrome strip. It will also get dual LED headlamps with integrated DRLs.
Other design features include a sculpted bumper, shark fin antenna, and redesigned LED tail lamps.
The interior of the new-gen Amaze will have a dual-tone cabin theme. Amenities-wise, it will provide an 8-inch floating touchscreen for infotainment, a semi-digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, a single-pane sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and more.
With the addition of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), the compact sedan will offer more safety to the driver as well as the passengers. It will also come with 6 airbags, hill hold assist, and ABS with EBD.
Beneath the hood, the third-gen Amaze will be powered by the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine as the current model. It can churn the power of 87 bhp and 110 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed MT and CVT. A CNG variant could also join at a later stage.
The existing Amaze is priced at Rs. 7.20 lakh to Rs 9.96 lakh (ex-showroom). With the launch of the new-gen model, Honda could set the pricing somewhere from Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
