The Land Cruiser Prado 250 will be launched in the Indian market by the end of 2025. This all-new SUV will come with new design, upgraded interior and new powertrain option. The LC250 is a luxury off roader SUV which is positioned below the land Cruiser 300. It is built on the same GA-F platform as LC300 series.
The new luxury off-roader will take on the likes of the Range Rover Velar, BMW X3, Audi Q5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLC.
The India-spec Land Cruiser Prado will be powered by a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine with a mild-hybrid setup. This engine is also likely to be offered on the Fortuner SUV. In fact, the MHEV version of the Hilux is already introduced in our market,. The engine will be paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This powertrain produces 200bhp and 500Nm of torque.
The Land Cruiser Prado 250 comes with rectangular design with chunky wheels to complimenting the SUV look. The rear is squared off, bumper looks beefed up, and has silver skid plate at lower section. The Interior has an all-black theme with big steering wheel. Other notable features are 12.3-inch infotainment and driver's display, multi zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, start-stop-push button.
In terms of proportions, the new Land Cruiser 250 is 4,920mm long, 1,980mm wide and 1,870mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,850mm. The SUV has a fuel tank capacity of 87-litres.
Scheduled to be launched in April 2025, the new Kia Carens facelift will share high-end comfort and convenience features with the Syros compact SUV.
