Pictures of Next-Gen Renault Duster have popped up online before its big reveal in Turkey. Inspired by the Bigster Concept, the New Duster was last revealed in late 2023 globally. Now Renault is showing off their take on it with leaked images. The pictures suggest a mix of tough and modern looks, promising an exciting addition to Renault's family of cars.
From the design perspective, Renault Duster looks a lot like the Dacia version. Upfront, a new badge with "Renault" is notable, replacing the old diamond-shaped logo. In addition, the front is adorned by rectangular LED headlamps with Y-shaped DRLs.
Moving to the rear, the Dacia badge is swapped out for the Renault logo. Other noteworthy features include V-shaped taillights, body cladding all around, and chunky wheel arches. It is believed that the model will be available with either 5-seat or 7-seat layout.
For the India-spec version, the powertrain details are yet to be revealed. However, globally, it is offered with 3 types of engines. One is a small 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol with a mild-hybrid system. Another option is a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo engine that runs on two types of fuel. Lastly, there is a 1.6-litre petrol hybrid engine that uses two electric motors and a small battery pack of 1.2 kWh.
In India, the next version of the Renault Duster is expected to launch in 2025. Till then stay tuned for more updates.
