Jaguar Land Rover has started accepting bookings for the Range Rover Velar Facelift in India. The SUV will be offered in one variant and two powertrain options. Prices of the vehicle are yet to be announced and once launched it will rival the likes of the Jaguar F Pace and Porsche Macan in its segment.
From the outside, the 2023 Velar Facelift will offer an updated front grille. The component is further complemented via a pair of new Pixel LED headlamps and Dynamic Bend Lighting. Apart from these, the brand has added two new colour options namely Metallic Varesine Blue and Premium Metallic Zadar Grey to the model line-up.
Inside the cabin, the upcoming Velar will provide two leather colourways which will include Caraway and Deep Garnet. Further, the interior will come equipped with new moonlight chrome found on the steering wheel, air vents, and centre console surrounds. The SUV is expected to feature an 11.4-inch curved new-generation Pivi Pro infotainment system along with wireless connectivity for smartphones. Other equipment would include noise cancellation, an air purification system, and a wireless charger.
The facelifted version of Velar will be available in Dynamic HSE with two engine options; a 2.0-litre petrol unit and a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel mill. The petrol option is expected to deliver a maximum power output of 246 bhp and 365 Nm of peak torque while the diesel power plant would produce 201 bhp of power with 420 Nm torque.
Apart from these, the SUV will also get a Terrain Response System with Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel, Sand Dynamic, Mud-Ruts, and Automatic modes.
