Renault India has officially announced that it is planning to launch the next-generation Renault Kiger and Triber in the second of 2025. As for the new Duster, the dates have been pushed to launch in 2026. Let's know what more of these models are about.
Since its launch, the Kiger has not received any major updates but the brand decided to introduce a new generation altogether. The car is expected to get a new face, redesigned light package, and new design for the wheels.
It’s not expected to change mechanically and will continue with the current automaker’s 1.0-litre NA petrol and 1.0-litre turbo petrol. Both get AT and MT options.
It is expected that the new Triber will be keeping its overall shape but get new design features inside and outside. The brand has not said anything about giving the new-gen Triber a turbo-petrol and we hope that it will do as it desperately needs more pulling power, especially with all three rows filled up.
Renault has also confirmed the launch of an "all-new SUV" which is set to be pushed to launch in 2026. This SUV is going to be none other than the third-gen Duster, which debuted globally last year. Renault sold the first-gen Duster in India from 2012 to 2022 and the second-gen Duster which never made it to India, the third-gen SUV launch will mark the return of the popular Duster title in India after a four-year gap.
Apart from these, it is confirmed that production of the new Duster in India will start by September and the company will reveal the prices for it sometime in early next year.
