Skoda Auto is coming with an extensive product portfolio for the event of the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. The Czech carmaker will be gracing the stage with Skoda Elroq EV, Vision 7S Concept, New Superb, and Octavia along with Kylaq's first public appearance.
Before the official showcase and reveal tomorrow, let's have a closer look at these 4 Skoda models.
The Elroq EV made its global debut in late 2024 and marked the brand's 'Modern Solid' design language. This EV has been built on Volkswagen’s MEB architecture. The Elroq EV comes with three options in battery pack options - 52kWh, 59kWh, and 77kWh – delivering claimed ranges of over 370km, over 385km, and over 560km (WLTP), respectively.
In its top-spec version, the electric SUV accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 6.6 seconds and achieves a top speed of 180kmph.
Skoda first unveiled the Vision 7S Concept in 2022 with a preview of the brand's new logo and design language. This concept features an all-electric 7-seater SUV with a newly designed grille, T-shaped headlamps, and taillamps with an entirely different interior from Skoda’s existing cars.
The powertrain of the Vision 7S concept offers an 89kWh battery offering a claimed WLTP range of over 600km.
Apart from those 2, Skoda is expected to be showcasing the new-gen Superb at Auto Expo 2025. This new-gen model is already on sale in the international market and is now likely to debut in India as a CBU model.
This sedan will remain to be a CBU-only model, and could thus be on the pricier side of the segment.
Skoda is rumoured to bring back the sporty RS form of the Octavia. It will be showcased at tomorrow's 2025 Auto Expo to measure customer reactions and market feedback. As for the engine specifications, they are not revealed by the brand yet it is expected to be powered by the 2-litre TSI engine.
A power output of about 268 BHP and about 370 NM will come with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, not officially confirmed.
