Tata Harrier EV has already been making waves in India, and its production-ready model was recently showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo. Adding to the excitement, the Harrier EV was spotted featuring a multi-link suspension and an all-wheel-drive setup, hinting at its advanced capabilities.
Ahead of its official launch, Tata Motors has now revealed the interior details, which closely resemble its ICE counterpart. With its premium features, all-wheel-drive capability, and long-range battery, the Tata Harrier EV is shaping up to be one of the most awaited electric SUVs in India.
Inside, the Harrier EV gets a four-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated logo. The newly released video also highlights a digital instrument cluster and an unchanged center console, which retains the rotary drive selector dial.
The EV continues with a dual-tone dashboard, similar to its ICE version, and carries forward the touch-based HVAC panel. Other notable features include a panoramic sunroof, an electronic parking brake, and connected car technology.
The Harrier EV is built on Tata’s Gen 2 acti.ev architecture, which is a heavily electrified version of the Land Rover-derived Omega platform. Notably, this transition to electrification has enabled an all-wheel-drive system—a first for Tata Motors in years—featuring one motor on each axle.
While detailed specifications are yet to be disclosed, Tata Motors has confirmed that the Harrier EV will produce 500 Nm of peak torque and offer an impressive real-world range of over 500 km, as per the brand’s internal testing cycle.
Tata Harrier EV is expected to launch between May and June 2025, with prices likely to range between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Upon arrival, it will compete with the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, and the upcoming Maruti e-Vitara.
