The most awaited, Tata Altroz Racer has launched today in the Indian market. With a price tag of Rs 9.49 (ex-showroom), the premium hatchback is offered in three variants R1, R2, and R3. A range of premium features and powerful engines are on offer.
The Altroz Racer is the sportier iteration of the regular Altroz hatchback. It is available with three exterior dual-tone choices - Atomic Orange with Black, Pure Grey with Black, and Avenue White with Black. Each paint scheme has two white stripes extending from the front bonnet to the roof, giving it a sporty visual appeal.
Design-wise the vehicle features 'Racer' badging on the front fenders, an integrated spoiler, and diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, the Altroz Racer gets all-black upholstery with three stripes and 'Racer' lettering on the headrests. Besides, It is loaded with premium features comprising ventilated front seats, an electric sunroof, orange accents, ambient lighting, a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera.
Under the hood, the hatchback houses a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox, this unit can produce a maximum power of 118 bhp with 170 Nm of torque.
