Tata Motors India is developing a new, very exciting variant of its Curvv SUV called Dark Edition to arrive at dealerships by 2025. The new variant will be identical in design approach used for other best-selling Tata models like Nexon, Altroz, and Harrier Dark Editions. So, this Dark Edition variant will carry all-black designs for both the exterior and interior, but its look will still be bolder and more stylish. This version will be based on the top-spec model of the Curvv.
The Tata Curvv could get all-black theme, like recently launched Nexon Dark Edition with black coated exterior and dark chrome Tata logo. The existing model comes with a range of impressive features, which we can expect in Dark Edition too. It includes stylish sequential LED DRLs, bi-function LED headlamps, LED fog lamps with cornering functions, and connected LED tail-lamps. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and has flush door handles with welcome lights, a dual-tone roof, and a shark fin antenna.
As outside, we can also expect all-black interior too. The tata Curvv could includes a 4-spoke illuminated digital steering wheel, voice-assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, and a digital driver's display as its current model. It can also includes an infotainment system consisting of a 12.3-inch touchscreen by Harman, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 9-speaker JBL sound system, air purifier with AQI display, and a wireless smartphone charger. Curvv would also boast ventilated leatherette seats, gesture control powered tailgate, and Level 2 ADAS with advanced safety.
Tata Curvv could well continue to have three engine options for the Dark Edition. They are a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel unit, a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol unit, and a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol unit. The diesel engine produces 116bhp and a peak torque of 260Nm, while the turbo petrol engine generates 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. The turbocharged Hyperion TGDi engine offers 123bhp and 225Nm of torque. All engines are to be featured with three drive modes: Eco, City, and Sport. Transmission options would be available as a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Post the launch of Dark Edition, Tata Motors will also launch a Red Dark version of Curvv later in this 2025 as well. This would surely give customers more options to customize their vehicles. It is also believed that after the launch of Dark Edition, the EV variant of Curvv will hit the market soon with these updates too. One of the most awaited SUVs is the Tata Curvv Dark Edition, guaranteeing an amalgamation of the best styles, latest features, and performance.
