As Tata Motors is gearing up to highlight its car lineup at the upcoming Auto Expo 2025, we are curious which Tata cars will arrive at the show. While Harrier EV and Tata Sierra are confirmed to take centre stage, the Harrier Petrol and the facelift versions of Punch, Tiago, and Tigor could also make their way to the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January 2025.

Among these, Tata Sierra will gain more attraction from the visitors as the SUV is making its comeback after 22 years. Moreover, the Sierra SUV will get not only diesel but petrol and electric powertrains as well. Let's dig more about the 2025 Tata Sierra SUV.
With the powerful comeback, Tata Sierra will be powered by multiple engine choices. Its Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) choice will include petrol and diesel units. Along with this, the SUV will get an electrified version as well.
Tata Sierra ICE
New Tata Sierra will take power from the brand's new 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The former can generate the maximum power of 167 bhp/280 Nm while the latter can generate 168 bhp/380 Nm of torque.
Tata Sierra EV
The electric avatar of the Sierra SUV could get two battery packs with a capacity of 45 and 55 kWh. These two units are expected to be paired to both single and dual-motor, offering the best range of 500 km. The e-SUV will also support DC fast charging.
The brand will use the new ATLAS platform for the 2025 Sierra ICE that also unpins other Tata Cars such as Curvv. As this architecture is compatible with 4X4 capabilities, it is expected that the Sierra ICE version could get a 4X4 system.
Meanwhile, the Sierra EV will be based on the Acti.ev platform which is especially designed for Tata electric cars.
Visually, the Sierra has boxy appeal, however, we have only seen the concept version till now. The production-spec Sierra is yet to be revealed. However, the 2025 Auto Expo will display the new Tata Sierra publicly in a production-ready avatar.
Some of its exterior features include a connected LED DRL strip, large alpine windows, flush-type door handles, and squarish wheel arches. The interior features might include a dual 12.3-inch digital screen, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 4-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo, and more.
