- Adult safety: Both the Harrier and Safari scored an impressive 30.08/32 for adult protection, showcasing their robust build quality and ability to keep occupants safe in crashes.
- Child safety: These larger SUVs scored 44.54/49 for child occupant protection, proving that despite their size, they offer the same level of safety for younger passengers as smaller vehicles like the Nexon.
1. Frontal and side crash protection: All vehicles were equipped with standard safety technologies such as airbags (front and side), ISOFIX mounts for child seats, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). This ensured top-notch protection for both the driver and passengers during frontal and side impacts.
2. Child occupant protection: Every SUV earned high scores for child protection, particularly for its ability to install child seats using ISOFIX systems. The scores for child dynamic tests were close across the board, showing consistent safety across different models.
3. Safety assist features: All tested models have advanced safety features, such as standard seat belt reminders, which contribute to their excellent crash performance.
From the compact Punch EV to the Safari, every Tata SUV offers top-tier protection. The Punch EV stands out as a safety leader with its best-in-class scores, but no matter which model you choose, Tata’s focus on safety ensures peace of mind for drivers and passengers.
