Tata Motors is gearing up to launch two of its highly anticipated models; Curvv and Altroz Racer. While the Altroz Racer is expected to launch by June 2024, the Curvv Coupe SUV will likely mark its entry later this year. Let’s have a look at what we can expect from these upcoming Tata cars.
The Altroz Racer is the sportier version of the regular Altroz which will be launched by June 2024.
Design-wise, the upcoming Altroz Racer will boast a sporty appeal with a blacked-out hood, ORVMs, roof, and pillars. To give it a more sporty look, Tata will highlight two white stripes over the bonnet and roof.
Inside, the hatchback is expected to come equipped with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, air purifier, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, red stitching & accents, automatic climate control, a 360-degree surround camera, and six airbags.
Under the hood, it will house a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It can pump out 117 bhp with 170 Nm of peak torque. Hyundai i20 N Line will be its direct rival.
Tata Currv will be the first coupe SUV from the brand which will come with both ICE and electric versions. The coupe SUV is expected to be powered by the same powertrain as offered in the Tata Nexon and Nexon EV. The brand might also launch a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine.
Slated to launch later this year, the upcoming Curvv will highlight Nexon-inspired LED DRLs, flush door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, and piano black cladding.
On the inside, the car will have a spacious cabin offering a boot space of 422 litres. It will likely come equipped with a dual-screen setup for both infotainment & digital information display, two-spoke steering wheels, electrically controlled ORVMs, ADAS, and automatic climate control.
