The first image of the All-New Toyota Innova Hycross has surfaced online ahead of the reveal. It will make its global debut as the Innova Zenix in Indonesia on 21 November while in India, the New Innova Hycross will be unveiled on the 25th of November 2022. The first suspected image of the new MPV on the internet shows what the model could look like from the front three-quarters.
As per the image online, the appearance of the New Innova Hycross is like an SUV– more robust than any of its predecessors. The front is expected to be dominated by a trapezoidal grille which is flanked by sleek wraparound headlamps. Additionally, the front bumper seems to have got a wider air dam with triangular vents on either side. Besides that, there are artificial aluminium bits on each corner of the bumper. As for the headlamp clusters, the units are a bit wider with dual layered housing featuring LED projectors. Plus there are chrome separators dividing each lamp.
Talking about the sides, there are distinctive creases that run across the length of the doors with both tidily merging with the wraparound taillamps; resembling the styling on the Avanza Veloz MPV sold overseas. The glasshouse of the Innova Hycross seems to be as big as that of an outgoing Innova Crysta which promises a lot of natural light for its occupants. Also, the alloy wheel design looks classy and offers the new Innova a premium look.
Although there is no specific image of the rear styling of Innova Hycross, the spy images in the past have confirmed that the new MPV is expected to have a wider tailgate, horizontally positioned LED tail lamps, and a chunky bumper to emphasize the SUV-like appearance.

The All-New Innova Hycross is going to ditch the real-wheel drive IMV platform to offer light and sophisticated front-wheel-drive TNGA modular architecture. Moving on to the engine options, the new MPV will provide two 2.0-litre power plants. The lower variant of the Hycross will offer a naturally aspirated petrol engine whereas the higher variant will receive a strong hybrid set up which will be similar to the recently launched Toyota Hyryder SUV.
