The launch of Toyota Innova Hycross is just around the corner; set to make its arrival by 25 November 2022. Prices of the new MPV are expected to be announced at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023 while the deliveries should start by mid-January. As the launch date is getting near, a few details are being revealed about the New Innova Hycross. It includes SUV-like styling, more refined powertrain options, and many new features.
In India, popularity of SUVs have been on the rise for the past few years. Toyota has also indulged in this trend with the upcoming Innova. The first teaser of the New Hycross already confirms that the automaker is going to influence both MPV and SUV lovers. As seen in the leaked images, the new Innova Hycross will have an SUV-like appearance with its upright and butch-looking grille. Toyota will provide some body cladding and wider fenders which will make it look like an SUV.

Toyota has officially unveiled the cabin of the new Innova Hycross which indicates that the MPV is likely to get some premium features in the Indian market. The Innova Hycross will get a large panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, lower centre console-mounted transmission lever, electronic parking brake, a new design for the multi-functional steering wheel, ambient lighting, and an analogue instrument console with TFT MID. Additionally, it will also feature dual-tone brown and black leather upholstery to give it a premium feel on the inside.

The Japanese automaker has shifted its focus to full hybrid cars in India. With its petrol-electric hybrid powertrain, the Hycross is expected to replace the current 2.4-litre four-cylinder diesel engine of the Crysta. The new petrol-electric hybrid powertrain is likely to be based on a 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol unit which would be more fuel efficient. There will not be any diesel engines in the offering of this model.
