Porsche Taycan Price

Prices for the 2024 Porsche Taycan range from Rs 18942000 to Rs 25262000 (ex-showroom). The Taycan is being offered in 2 variants: standard Taycan, Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo, out of which, prices for the standard model are yet to be revealed. 

Key Features of Porsche Taycan

The 4-seater Taycan gets amenities like HD Matrix LED headlamps, 21-inch alloys with low-resistance tyres, a 10.9-inch infotainment system, a 16.8-inch fully digital driver’s display, an optional passenger’s display, up to 14-speaker Bose sound system, four-zone climate control, a heads-up display, a heating function for all seats & steering wheel, 14-way electrically adjustable front seats, wireless smartphone charging, an air purifier, ambient lighting, adaptive air suspension, an optional Porsche Active Ride suspension.

Porsche Taycan Range 

Range figures for the Indian-spec Taycan are currently not available. However, its UK-spec version has a WLTP-certified range of 557 km with the standard 89kWh battery and 642km with the optional 105kWh battery pack. On the other hand, the Turbo offers a WLTP-claimed range of 629 km on a full charge. 

How safe is the Porsche Taycan?

The Porsche Taycan has six airbags, Porsche Stability Management, tyre pressure monitoring, park assist, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) comprising a host of active safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a driver drowsiness detection, etc. The range-topping Turbo model also features an active bonnet for pedestrian safety, which raises the rear portion of the bonnet in case of a crash to lower the collision effect.

The Porsche Taycan is available in multiple colour options. Some of them include Jet Black Metallic, Ice Grey Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Carmine Red, Provence, Gentian Blue Metallic, Neptune Blue, Frozenblue Metallic, Frozenberry Metallic, Oak Green Metallic Neo, hade Green Metallic, and Crayon.

Battery and Motor Specifications

●Taycan 4S: It gets an 89 kWh battery pack powering an electric motor on each axle. It produces a combined output of 460 PS and 695 Nm. The battery pack can be upgraded to a 105 kWh unit with an optional Performance Battery Plus Pack that also boosts the motors to deliver 517 PS and 710 Nm. 
●Taycan Turbo: It gets a bigger 105 kWh battery pack, mated to two electric motors one on axle belting out a peak output of 707PS and 890Nm.

Charging Time

●Via 320 kW DC fast charging: 10-80 per cent in 18 minutes
●Via 22 kW AC charger - Full in up to 9 hours.

Dimensions and Boot Space 

Porsche Taycan is 4963mm long, 1966mm wide, and 1381mm tall. It boasts a wheelbase of 2900mm, while the boot space is rated at 407 litres.
