Tata Punch is the smallest SUV offering in the Indian automobile market. It is built on ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) modular platform. The vehicle aims to deliver a good value for money-proposition . It has achieved a 5 Star Safety Rating from Global NCAP.
The Punch exterior provides a boxy and muscular stance. Upfront the SUV provides a raised bonnet, split headlamp setup with LED DRLs and projector headlights.
On the sides, we get to see roof rails, squared-off wheel arches, black plastic cladding allround and 15-inch steel rims/16-inch alloy wheels.
Towards the rear, the SUV gets a sculpted tailgate. A roof mounted spoiler, LED tail lights and black plastic finished rear bumper are all part of the package.
Tata Punch interior features a dual tone (black and white) colour theme. The cabin provides a well laid out dashboard giving the impression of great build quality. There is adequate head, shoulder and legroom for occupants.
Features: The Punch comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, height-adjustable driver seat, cruise control and more.
Safety: Tata Motors provides various safety features in the Punch car. These features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rear view camera, and traction pro mode.
Tata Punch price in India starts at Rs 612900 and extends up to Rs 999900 (ex-showroom). It is available in 25 variants which names have Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative.
The Punch is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that delivers 88 bhp with 113 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and an AMT.
New Tata Motors Punch measures 3,827mm in length, 1,742mm in width and 1,615 mm in height. The SUV provides a wheelbase of 2,445mm and a ground clearance of 190mm. The vehicle gets a standard 37-litre fuel tank and 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
New Punch is available in seven different dual-tone colour options.
The mileage of Tata Punch is set at 18.6 kmpl for manual and 17.5 kmpl for the AMT.
Tata Punch rivals the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS, Mahindra KUV100 NXT and the Nissan Magnite.
