Tata Tiago

Tata Tiago is a highly popular hatchback available in the country currently. A familiar model in the market since 2016, the car has spawned one facelift which it received in 2020. 2021 witnessed the introduction of the CNG version. The four-wheeler has received a 5 Star Safety Rating from Global NCAP. 

Design Highlights

Tata Tiago’s exterior provides a compact design. Up front it gets a black chrome highlighted grille, sharp headlights with projector lamps, LED daytime running lights and fog lamps. 

On the sides we get to see a strong shoulder line, flattened wheel arches and up to 15-inch wheels.

Towards the rear it gets an integrated roof spoiler, clear tail lamps, a chrome strip and a gloss-black diffuser. 

Tata Tiago Interior and Features

Interior: Tata Tiago’s interior features a dual (black and beige) colour theme. The cabin provides a well laid out dashboard that offers brushed aluminum inserts on AC vents and the steering wheel. The quality of materials used make the insides feel premium.  

Features: The Tiago gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman which is compatible with Apple Car and Android Auto.

Additional Features: cooled glove box, rear camera with guidelines, adjustable driver seat, push-button start with keyless entry, and more. 

Safety: Tiago has safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, corner stability control, and TPMS.

Tata Tiago Price and Variants

The Tiago price in India starts from Rs 499990 and extends to Rs 874990 (ex-showroom). It is offered in total of 17 variants. 

Engine and Specification

Tata Tiago is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The unit is offered with both petrol and CNG fuel type.

The engine produces 86 bhp and 113 Nm torque in the petrol guise, while the figures drop to 73 bhp and 93 Nm for the CNG version. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. 

Dimensions of Tiago hatchback

The Tiago measures 3,765mm in length, 1,677mm in width, and 1,535mm in height. It provides a wheelbase of 2,400mm and a ground clearance of 170mm. The car gets a standard 35-litre fuel tank and 15-inch alloy wheels. 

Colour Options

Tata offered 5 colours options in the Tiago. They include Midnight Plum, Flame Red, Opal White, Arizona Blue and Daytona Grey.

Tata Tiago Mileage

The mileage of Tiago is set at 19 kmpl for the petrol manual and 18 kmpl for the AMT. The CNG variants deliver a fuel efficiency figure of 26 kms per kg.
