Tata Motors had recently launched the Tiago facelift alongside its electric variant, Tiago.ev. The 2025 Tiago gets fresh colour choices and new tech features inside the hatchback. The brand was expected to showcase the aforementioned car models at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. However, Tata has other cars on the line to highlight at the show including Harrier EV and Tata Sierra.
Before we reach the auto expo, let's have a quick overview of what the new Tiago has to offer.
In terms of dimensions, the 2025 Tiago hatchback measures 3765 mm in length, 1677 mm in width, and 1535 mm in height. The hatchback has a wheelbase of 2400 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. The 5-seater offers a boot space of 242 litres.
From the design angle, the 2025 Tiago remains the same. It continues to flaunt its LED DRLs, LED headlamps, auto headlight, front fog lamps, 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and a rear wiper.
It is also said that the latest Tiago is offered with new exterior paint choices. However, the names are yet to be revealed.
The updated Tiago receives major changes inside. It now has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a revised instrument cluster with new graphics. It also features a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated brand logo.
Other essential features include ABD with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold control, rear parking sensors, rearview parking camera, a cooled glove box, 4-speaker, automatic climate control, cruise control, ISOFIX child seat mounts and tyre pressure monitoring system. Its electric version gets a remote opening tailgate feature as well.
Mechanically, the 2025 Tata Tiago remained unchanged. It is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing the best power at 84 bhp with 113 Nm of torque. When in CNG mode, the power is rated at 72 bhp and 95 Nm. The powertrain is paired with a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT.
The latest Tata Tiago facelift comes with a price tag of Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model. In comparison, the top-end model costs 7.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The CNG-powered Tiago comes with a price range of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
