India’s #1
New Car Buying Platform
Audi’s Q6 e-tron has made its India debut in the form of a non-camouflaged test mule recently spotted by Autocar. Notably, this follows its March launch alongside the S e-tron GT overseas. The eSUV is expected to arrive at local dealerships by this year’s end or early 2025.
Underpinned by Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) framework shared with Porsche Macan, the Q6 e-tron will have no immediate rivals upon launch here. Besides a hexagonal grille ahead, Audi has made ample use of LEDs all around the four-wheeler from headlights to an LED bar behind. It also gets flared wheel arches apart from 21-inch alloy wheels.
The Audi Q6 e-tron’s cabin houses three screens, including a 10.9-inch front passenger screen. While the 11.9-inch instrument cluster is huge as it is, there’s a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system on board as well.
Internationally, the SUV boasts a 100 kWh battery paired with dual electric motors. India-spec Q6 e-tron, however, may be powered by a smaller 83 kWh unit with fast charging. Details on the drivetrain remain unclear.
