Citroen has officially teased its upcoming Dark Edition lineup, which includes three models: the C3, C3 Aircross, and the upcoming Basalt. Ahead of the official debut, new details have surfaced about the C3 Dark Edition, giving us a closer look at what’s in store for the Indian market.
According to sources, the Citroen C3 Dark Edition will sport an all-new black colour scheme, giving it a stealthy and bold appearance.
Key exterior highlights include:
- Blacked-out design elements across the body
- Silver-finished faux skid plates for added ruggedness
- Dual-tone alloy wheels enhancing the premium look
Inside the cabin, the C3 Dark Edition continues its dark theme with a range of subtle yet stylish changes:
- Full-black interior theme with contrast red stitching on the dashboard, seats, and armrest
- ‘Dark Edition’ embroidery on the front seats along with grey inserts
- Exclusive accessories such as special seat belts and cushions to elevate comfort and personalization
The Citroen C3 Dark Edition will retain the same powertrain options as the standard model. These include:
- A 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine
- A 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine
Transmission choices will include both a manual gearbox and a torque converter automatic.
While the official launch date is yet to be confirmed, the Citroen C3 Dark Edition is expected to debut soon. Considering the added styling and accessory package, pricing is likely to carry a slight premium over the standard variants.
