Honda Cars India has introduced the City Apex Edition with a special accessory package worth Rs 25,000. It is being offered exclusively on the mid-spec V and VX trims, with both manual and CVT automatic gearboxes. This accessory package will be available for a limited period across all Honda dealerships nationwide.
The Honda City Apex Edition V and VX manual variants are priced at Rs 13.30 lakh and Rs 14.37 lakh, respectively. The V and VX automatic trims with the new special accessory kit are available at Rs 14.55 lakh and Rs 15.62 lakh, respectively. In comparison, the standard V and VX trims are available at Rs 12.70 lakh (MT)/Rs 13.95 lakh (CVT) and Rs 13.82 lakh (MT)/ Rs 15.07 lakh (CVT), respectively.
The Apex Edition package comes with several exterior and interior accessories, enhancing its premium quotient. On the exterior, the sedan’s special edition features ‘Apex Edition’ badges on the front fenders and boot lid. Most of the upgrades are for the interior. The Honda City Apex Edition has premium leatherette finish on the dashboard, centre console and door pads. It gets Apex Edition exclusive seat covers and cushions.
The kit also consists of ambient lighting in seven colours around the instrument panel and in the door pockets. Buyers can also opt for this ambient lighting package as a standalone accessory for the SV and ZX trims at an additional cost of Rs 7,500. The City Apex Edition has beige cabin theme.
The City Apex Edition retained all features available on the V and VX trims including connected car tech, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4.2-inch MID, keyless entry, six airbags, lane watch camera, a sunroof, wireless charger, rear reading lamps, keyless entry, adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking system, lane keep/departure assist, lead car departure notifications, fog lamps, automatic high beam and, 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
No changes have been made under the hood. The Honda City Apex Edition uses the same 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine producing power worth 121bhp. It comes with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT gearbox.
