After the hype of the new Swift hatchback, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the Dzire sedan in its new-generation form. The next-generation Dzire will come in fresh and sharper styling. It will highlight its all-new front grille with horizontal slats. Other exterior design elements include an updated bonnet, sportier alloy wheels, and new tail lamps, previous spy shots confirmed.
The interior of the 2024 Dzire will also be enhanced with a new dashboard layout, offered in 2024 Swift. It will come with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a multi-information display, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Other comfort and convenience features include electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs, rear AC vents, Type A and Type C USB ports, engine push buttons, and lot more.
Maruti Suzuki will offer six airbags on Dzire as standard across all variants. A segment-first 360-degree camera feature is also expected. Besides, the new Dzire could offer hill hold assist, an electronic stability program, a wide-angle rear parking camera, and reverse parking sensors.
As seen in the latest Swift, the next-gen Dzire will also get the all-new 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine. This 3-cylinder is capable of producing 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include 5-speed MT and AMT. The Dzire CNG variant could also arrive at a later stage.
