MG Cyberster, the upcoming electric sports car from JSW MG Motor India, is all set to hit showrooms in March 2025. Its official bookings will begin in the coming days, while deliveries are slated to start in April. It will be MG’s first model to be sold exclusively through the MG Select premium showrooms. The carmaker has previously confirmed that it will initially introduce four new products for its MG Select outlets including the Cyberster sports car and the Mifa 9 MPV.
In the first phase, MG plans to setup 12 Select experience centres across the country. This premium network will be expanded in a phased manner, including tier II cities. The Cyberster will be the most affordable electric sports car in India, with an expected price of around Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom).

The powertrain setup of the MG Cyberster consists of a 77kWh battery pack and dual electric motors with an AWD (all-wheel drive) system. The electric sports car produces a maximum power of 510 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. It is capable to achieve 100 kmph from standstill in just 3.2 seconds. The carmaker claims that the Cyberster delivers a range of 580km on a full charge, CLTC cycle figure. The suspension setup of the EV includes a front double wishbone at the front and a five-link independent unit at the rear. It has a 50:50 front and rear weight distribution, enhancing its high-speed stability.
The MG Cyberster’s design is inspired by the MG B Roadster of the 1960s. Its major design highlights are the scissor doors with dual radar sensors and an anti-pinch mechanism, a soft top and two-seats configuration. This electric sports car is expected to come with wheels ranging between 19-20-inches. It also features arrow-shaped taillights with connected LED strip running across its width and a split diffuser. In India, the Cyberster will be offered in four different colour options – White, Grey, Red and Yellow.
The new electric sports car from MG will have a flat-bottom steering wheel featuring an octagonal ‘MG’ logo in the centre. The EV also has a 10.25-inch driver’s display and two 7-inch screens positioned on both sides of the bigger display. The HVAC system includes touch-sensitive control buttons.
The feature list also includes ADAS suite, a 360 degree parking camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, Bose sound system, PM 2.5 air filter, ambient light in 64 colours, 4-way adjustable leather-wrapped steering wheel, 6-way adjustable driver seat with memory, tyre pressure monitoring system, autonomous emergency brake system, driver monitor system, and many more.
