Renault has commenced the testing phase for the New Kiger which is expected to launch later this year. A test mule of the car has been spied recently with heavy camouflage. Through these spy images it seems very likely that the car will get some cosmetic updates to the exterior for the facelift.
Let's have a look at all the new details that are expected in the Kiger Facelift as per the test mule.
In the spy images, the test mule of the facelift Kiger can be seen with the same silhouette as the current model. It can be said that there won't be major updates to the design language, however, some updates with the plastic and fiber elements for the front and back bumper are expected.
Apart from that, the design of Alloy Wheels seems new and likely to stay at 16 inches. The facelift of this sub-4m SUV could get a beefier front bumper and the addition of fog lights.
The inside of the facelift test mule can not be seen properly and the brand has yet to confirm much. It is likely that the features would be the same as the current, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto climate control, front and rear armrest, keyless entry and push-button start, rear AC vents, adjustable headrests, and more.
The new Kiger is expected to be offered with the same engine options, a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol. As for the transmission option, the same, a 5-speed manual and AMT could be offered on the NA petrol, while the Turbo version will get a CVT option.
