The concept features a closed front grille, an illuminated logo replacing the conventional badge on the nose, high mounted bumper and T-shaped LED lighting signature for both headlamps and DRLs at the front end.
The side profile has been adorned with the sharp lines, suicide doors, 22-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels, black cladding and flush door handles. At the back, the Skoda Vision 7S sports an illuminated Skoda logo similar to the front, T-shaped taillamps, a diffuser and cladding. This 7-seater electric SUV concept measures 5,016mm in length, 1,940mm in width and 1,888mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,075mm.
The electric SUV concept previews Skoda’s new interior layout. It has uncluttered dashboard design, a newly-designed steering wheel and a 14.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity. The Skoda Vision 7S concept also features a fully digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, a HUD (head-up display), minimal physical controls, Skoda’s connected car suite, retractable tablet holders, multiple airbags, Level 2 ADAS suite and more.
The cabin is spacious enough to accommodate seven adult passengers. It has centrally mounted child seat integrated into the center console of the second row. The front seats can slide forward and tilt, while the second-row seats can be reclined.
The powertrain setup of the Skoda Vision 7S concept consists of an 89kWH battery pack offering a claimed WLTP range of over 600km. It can be charged at speeds of up to 200kW. This 7-seater electric SUV concept has been designed on the Volkswagen Group’s modular MEB platform.
