Volkswagen has unveiled the concept ID. EVERY1 a few days back and it is said to launch in 2027 in Europe. The production will be based on the modular electric drive (MEB) platform. The automaker has been taking various major steps in making electric mobility more affordable. The price for the entry-level ID. EVERY1 is likely to be 20,000 euros (Rs. 18.95 lakh).
Let's go through some key highlights to know more about this upcoming affordable EV.
The production version of the ID. EVERY1 will be a step in expanding the brand's EV lineup. Along with this, the ID. 2all is scheduled to launch in 2026 with pricing around 25,000 euros (Rs. 23.69 lakh).
This upcoming EV (ID. EVERY1) will be based on a new MEB platform with a front-wheel drive configuration, as for the architecture, this concept uses the same as the ID. 2all and ID. GTI concept. Inside the cabin of this concept car, the automaker provides a practical yet modern cabin built with physical buttons. The seating capacity would be 4 people with a 305-litre luggage compartment and advanced software architecture, which allows over-the-air updates and digital upgrades throughout its lifetime.
The unveiled concept is powered by a 93 bhp electric motor with a speed reach of 130 kmph with a minimum range of 250 kilometres.
This EV is just one piece among the larger plans that the company has set up, including the introduction of nine new models by 2027. The automaker is aiming to strengthen its spot in the competitive electric vehicle market as well as providing a range of options for different customer needs.
