The new model is claimed to be more aerodynamically designed to offer more range. In fact, the new LED lighting system is claimed to be more energy efficient. The front is heavily modified to offer a more aggressive look, featuring a single-tone, body-coloured finish for the upper body panel. The headlamp housing is designed in trapezoidal form, while the grille has functional air vents.
There is a full-width LED light bar that runs across the nose, which is inspired from the Curvv SUV concept. In fact, the Punch EV also has the same front look with full-width LED light bar and Tata Logo positioned between the grille and LED DRLs. The light band is functional, as it shows the charging status.
The SUV retains the split headlamp setup with sequential LED DRLs on top and main headlamp unit placed on the lower bumper. The lower bumper also accommodates a large air intake with thick black plastic cladding, and a faux-silver skid plate. The side profile looks largely identical to the previous model, except for the new set of alloys. The rear has connected LED tail-lamps, a roof-mounted spoiler and new bumper with contrasting black and silver trims.
In terms of proportions, the new Nexon EV is 3994mm in length, 1811mm in width and 1616mm in height. The SUV has a wheelbase of 2498mm, while boot space stands at 350-litres. It offers a ground clearance of 190mm that is more than sufficient to tackle Indian road conditions.
