Lamborghini has launched the most powerful iteration of its SUV offering, the Urus Performante in the Indian market. The Super SUV was unveiled globally in August and is priced at Rs 4.22 crore (ex-showroom). This iconic sports car is the ultimate version of the Italian brand that comes with significant design changes, a more potent engine and new drive mode.
From the design perspective, the new Urus Performante is identical to the regular version but features certain cosmetic changes that highlight the more aggressive nature of the SUV. The differences include cooling vents on the bonnet, aggressive front and rear bumper and a lot of carbon fibre elements.
In terms of interior design, the new Urus Performante cabin comes finished in Nero Cosmus Black Alcantara as standard along with new hexagonal seat stitching. Further, the car also comes offered with the Lamborghini Dark package, which provides matte treatment to many aspects of the vehicle.
The new Urus Performante gets a returned 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that now develops 657 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. The new Super SUV can accelerate from 0-1000 kmph in 3.3 seconds which is almost 0.3 seconds faster than the standard Urus. It is also claimed to have an increased top speed of 306 kmph. Additionally the company has reworked on the mechanicals of the car to make it the best handling SUV currently on sale. The three off-road modes of the standard model have also been replaced with a single Rally mode.

As reported, the new Lamborghini Urus Performante has been launched in India at Rs 4.22 core (ex-showroom). This iconic sports car will compete with the likes of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Audi RS Q8, the Aston Martin DBX and Maserati Levante in India.
