New spy images of the Mahindra XUV700 facelift reveal some big changes. This time, the test car had proper headlights that looked ready for production. These are much better than the older test lights, which looked like they were taken from the Thar Roxx.
The new headlights look sharper and more modern. They have two separate sections for low and high beam, most likely with LED lights. While the LED DRLs can’t be seen clearly, they are expected to be slimmer than before. The bumper and front grille have also been updated, giving the car a fresh new face.
Two different XUV700 test cars were seen with different wheel designs. This could mean Mahindra is planning different alloy wheels for different variants, like FWD and AWD versions.
The size will likely remain at 18 inches, but Mahindra might also offer 19-inch wheels to match Tata’s SUVs. There are no major changes to the sides and back of the car, so the facelift mostly focuses on the front and inside.

Inside the cabin, a big upgrade is coming. The facelifted XUV700 will get three screens on the dashboard—one for the driver, one in the middle, and one in front of the passenger. This setup is similar to what Tata is planning for its upcoming Sierra SUV.
Mahindra first showed this triple-screen idea in the XUV.e9 concept. Now, the same layout will be used in the new XUV700. Each screen could be about 12.3 inches in size. The screen for the passenger might allow video streaming, games, navigation help, and even video calls. A special film will make sure it doesn’t distract the driver.
The new XUV700 will keep the same engines as the current model. It will have a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 197 bhp and a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine with 182 bhp. Both manual and automatic options will be available, and higher trims may get all-wheel drive.
Mahindra is expected to launch the facelifted XUV700 sometime in 2026. With updated looks, new tech, and the triple-screen dashboard, it will be ready to take on the Tata Sierra and other upcoming rivals.
