Skoda Auto India is all set to announce the prices of the second-generation Skoda Kodiaq on April 17, 2025. The premium 7-seater SUV will be available in two variants – Laurin & Klement (L&K) and Sportline. The updated model will bring significant design changes, a tech-laden interior, and a more powerful engine.
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq features an evolved design that builds upon its predecessor’s muscular stance.
Key highlights include:
- Split LED headlamp setup with new daytime running light (DRL) signatures
- A refreshed illuminated front grille
- Connected C-shaped LED tail-lamps with a full-width LED light bar
- 18-inch alloy wheels offered as standard across both variants
The Sportline trim stands out with its blacked-out exterior elements, including the grille, D-pillar garnish, and rear bumper, contrasting with the silver-finished accents on the L&K trim. Additionally, the Sportline gets sportier alloy wheel designs.
The cabin of the new Skoda Kodiaq offers a major upgrade in terms of layout and features. The dashboard gets a winged design dominated by a 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system.
Other interior highlights include:
- 10-inch digital instrument cluster
- New two-spoke steering wheel with Skoda branding
- Configurable rotary HVAC dials
- 3-zone climate control
- Panoramic sunroof
- 360-degree surround view camera
- Park assist
The Laurin & Klement variant comes fully loaded with powered, heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, while the Sportline trim gets sporty bucket seats but misses out on the massage and ventilation functions.
Powering the new Kodiaq is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that churns out 201 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, and all-wheel drive (AWD) is standard across both variants. Its ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency is rated at 14.86 kmpl.
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq promises to be a compelling package for premium SUV buyers looking for a blend of performance, luxury, and practicality. With an official price announcement scheduled for April 17, the Kodiaq will take on rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Jeep Meridian.
Stay tuned for the full price list, variant-wise feature breakdown, and booking details as we get closer to the launch.
