Range Rover SV Masara Edition has been officially launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 4.99 crore (ex-showroom). This exclusive edition draws inspiration from the stunning sapphires found in the Himalayan region, making it the second India-inspired Range Rover, following the Ranthambore Edition.
The Range Rover SV Masara Edition is based on the long-wheelbase version of the Range Rover SV. The standout feature of this edition is its unique ‘Deep Satin Blue’ paint. This bespoke colour has been specifically formulated for the Masara Edition, with only 12 units available, ensuring its exclusivity.
The blue shade is a tribute to the Himalayan sapphires and is paired with bronze and chrome accents, which are also featured on the 23-inch alloy wheels. This combination of hues gives the vehicle an elegant yet powerful presence on the road.
Inside, the Range Rover SV Masara Edition looks very premium, with soft Liberty Blue and Perlino leather seats, neat stitching, and shiny chrome details. The door sills have special ‘Masara Edition’ and ‘1 of 12’ labels, showing how rare it is.
The SUV comes standard with the SV Signature Suite, which includes premium features such as a powered table, a refrigerated compartment, and bespoke glassware. In addition to these features, the Masara Edition is equipped with air suspension, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a panoramic sunroof, and powered seats with heating, cooling, and massage functions, making it one of the most luxurious vehicles in its class.
Under the hood, the Range Rover SV Masara Edition boasts a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers an impressive 615 hp and 750 Nm of torque. This powerhouse is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and power is distributed to all four wheels. The vehicle is also equipped with off-road adaptive cruise control and a high/low-range gearbox, ensuring it can tackle even the most challenging terrains while maintaining its luxury performance.
