Nissan is ready to bring the Magnite facelift next month. First launched in December 2020, the SUV will now receive an updated design and more features. However, there will be no mechanical changes. Ahead of its launch on October 4, here is what we know so far about the facelift model.
From the outside, the Magnite facelift will receive the revamped front fascia. Previous spy shots have also confirmed that it will feature an updated front grille, redesigned headlight housings, and a reworked front bumper. The facelift model is also expected to get fresh alloy wheels and updated LED tail lights.
Inside the Magnite facelift, expect to see an updated seat upholstery. It might also come with a range of new features, including a single-pane sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, and a 7-inch digital driver display.
On the safety front, Nissan is likely to provide six airbags as standard for the 2024 Magnite facelift. Other features will continue to be on the list such as a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
The updated model will continue to use the current set of engine options. It includes a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. The former can generate 70 bhp and 96 Nm while the latter can deliver 99 bhp with 160 Nm of torque. Transmission options include 5-speed MT, AMT with the naturally aspirated petrol and 5-speed MT, CVT on the turbo petrol unit.
2024 Nissan Magnite facelift is scheduled to launch on the 4th of October. Talking about the price expectation, it is likely to be priced at Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and the upcoming Skoda Kylaq.
