July 2025 is set to be an exciting month for car enthusiasts in India, with four major launches lined up from Kia, MG, BMW, and Renault. From an electric MPV to a stylish facelift and a premium coupe, here’s a look at what’s coming to the Indian market this month.
Kia is all set to launch the Carens Clavis EV on July 15, marking its debut in the mass-market electric vehicle segment in India. The Clavis EV is expected to offer a range of up to 490 km and will likely come with two battery options—42kWh and 51.4kWh—paired with electric motors delivering 135 hp and 171 hp.
To support its EV rollout, Kia has introduced the K-Charge platform, giving users access to over 11,000 charging points via the MyKia app. The app also includes an EV Route Planner, real-time slot availability, and payment features. Kia’s charging network includes 250+ workshops and 100+ dealerships with DC fast chargers, along with home charging options of 7.4kW and 11kW.
BMW will launch the updated 2 Series Gran Coupe in India on July 17, with pre-bookings already open. The facelifted model sports a redesigned front grille with illumination, new LED headlamps, and sleek LED taillights.
Inside, the coupe features a curved infotainment screen powered by BMW’s latest OS9 software, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, 12-speaker Harman/Kardon system, and a wireless charger. Under the hood, it gets a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 154 BHP and 230 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

MG Motor India is launching its first MPV, the MG M9, on July 21. The M9 features a square-shaped design to maximize cabin space, with a unique front including LED lights and chrome trim. The rear boasts vertically arranged tail lights and a full-width light bar.
With a length of 5,200mm and a 3,200mm wheelbase, it surpasses competitors like the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire. Inside, it offers luxurious features like a panoramic sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting, and 16-way adjustable seating with massage options.
Powered by a 90 kWh battery, the M9 provides a 548 km range on a single charge, with a fast 90-minute charging time using a 160kW DC charger.
Renault will unveil the facelifted Triber MPV on July 23, its first major update since its launch in 2019. The refreshed Triber will get cosmetic changes such as new LED DRLs, revised headlamps, a redesigned front and rear bumper, and new alloy wheels.
Inside, Renault is expected to offer updated upholstery, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, and a digital instrument cluster. The MPV will continue with the 1.0-litre petrol engine producing 72 hp, mated to either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. A 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine may also be introduced. Despite a possible price hike, the Triber will remain one of the most affordable MPVs in India.
