German automaker Audi has now launched its New Q3 Sportback SUV in the country with a price tag of Rs 51.43 lakh (ex-showroom), India. Bookings for the model were recently started at a token amount of Rs 2 lakh. Currently, this coupe-like SUV is available only in a single trim; Technology+ S-line. The company has confirmed to sell this new model alongside the standard Q3 which offers two variants; Premium Plus and Technology (priced between Rs 44.89 to Rs 50.39 lakh, ex-showroom). Comparing the prices of both trims, the New Audi Q3 Sportback is costlier by around Rs 1 lakh.
Featuring an S-line styling pack as standard, the New Q3 Sportback highlights unique design elements in comparison to the regular Q3. Up front, the 2023 coupe SUV comes with a large hexagonal grille reflecting a honeycomb pattern. It features sharper and more triangular-shaped air intakes with silver accents. Besides, the SUV gets a sharply raked roofline and 10-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels.
Moving on to the dimensions, the New Audi Q3 Sportback is 4,518 mm long, 1,843mm wide, and 1,558mm tall. Comparing it to the regular Q3, the 2023 Q3 Sportback is 36mm longer, 6mm narrower, and 49mm shorter.
Audi has not made any changes to the interior of the New Q3 Sportback SUV; it looks quite similar to the regular Q3. In addition, it highlights the same 10.1-inch touchscreen and the brand's Virtual Cockpit all-digital instrument cluster. The German automaker has two interior upholstery colours to offer on its Q3 Sportback SUV; Pearl Beige and Okapi Brown.
Furthermore, the new four-wheeler is equipped with smart features that include electrically adjustable front seats with four-way lumbar support, 2-zone automatic climate, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and more.
Powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI turbo-petrol engine, the Q3 Sportback can generate a maximum power output of 187 bhp with 320 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty is taken care by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox while power to all four wheels is transmitted via a Quattro AWD system. Besides, the SUV provides a top speed of 220 kmph.
Audi is providing a 5-year extended warranty on its Q3 Sportback including Road Side Assistance (RSA) for a limited period. However, Customers can extend the warranty for up to 7 years and RSA for up to 10 years. Talking about its rivals, the Q3 Sportback has no direct rivals as there are no entry-level coupe SUVs in the Indian market for now.
