BMW India widened its 3 Series lineup by launching the diesel 320Ld M Sport Pro at Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom) on Thursday. Bookings, both online and offline, are open effective today with deliveries commencing soon. BMW also sells the 330Li petrol variant under this edition.
The sedan stands out with its bold and sophisticated exterior. It features a distinctive blacked-out kidney grille and a high gloss black rear diffuser, which contribute to its sporty and aggressive look. The car is equipped with adaptive LED headlights that ensure clear road illumination and are accentuated by M Lights Shadowline tint. Being a long wheelbase offering, its elongated profile enhances both elegance and the sense of spaciousness. A total of four colours are available - Carbon Black, Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey and Portimao Blue.
Inside, the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro offers a luxurious and modern ambiance. The cabin features M Headliner Anthracite headliner upholstery, BMW 8.5 OS electrically adjustable front seats and wireless charging. The spacious interior is complemented by a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting with six customisable settings. A three-zone automatic climate control system and illuminated door sill plates further enhance the premium experience.
Safety is a top priority in the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro, which is equipped with a range of advanced safety features like six airbags and Attentiveness Assistance to help detect driver fatigue. Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), enhances stability and control during drives. The vehicle also features an electronic parking brake with auto hold, ISOFIX child seat mounting, and side-impact protection.
For additional convenience, BMW’s Parking Assistant Plus with surround view camera simplifies parking in tight spaces, while the Driving Assistant offers Blind Spot Detection and collision warnings for both front and rear impacts.
The BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine with BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology. This engine delivers 188bhp and 400Nm of torque, enabling the limousine to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 7.6 seconds. Transmission duties are handled by an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission, providing smooth gear shifts and including paddle shifters for a more engaging drive. Drivers can choose from ECO PRO, Comfort and Sport modes using the Driving Experience Control switch.
