The excitement surrounding the 2025 Auto Expo is reaching a fever pitch, and Lexus has added to the buzz with its recent announcement that the luxury automaker will showcase two of its newest model concepts at the event. The product line is said to include a Hybrid zone, a Lifestyle zone, and a Future zone that will allow guests to understand Lexus’ future mobility better.
Let's have a detailed and closer look at what we can expect from these two innovative models.
The Lexus LF-ZC redefines what luxury means in an electrified future. The concept has a futuristic design as last showcased at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. The model is reportedly filled with modern technology and, a bold design with all the curves that will take the sedan segment to the next level. It is claimed to have a drag coefficient of 0.2 and battery power that is twice that of current EVs.
According to the claims of some reports, the production version of the same is very likely to hit the market around 2026. It is yet to be revealed by the company on this, but we can expect more after the showcase.
While the other specs and most details are still not revealed yet it has been confirmed that in both RWD and AWD configuration, it offers a great range of 1000km on a single charge.
While the LF-ZC showcases a futuristic elegance and design, The Lexus ROV highlights a different side of the brand: rugged adventure and exploration. It is more compact than its sibling, which runs on hydrogen power. This concept is built for off-roading and appeals to thrill-seekers.
As seen in the photos, the ROV features a rugged, open-body design with roll bars, knobby tires, and an advanced suspension system built to handle the toughest road. It also has been reported that the concept model will offer a 1.0-litre Hydrogen engine whereas the power figures are not known yet.
ROV can be seen as the best adventure buddy for all SUV customers from Lexus which will provide the capability to handle high adventures while still fitting compactly in a trailer bed.
The 2025 Auto Expo will serve as a platform for Lexus to showcase not just these two models but also its vision for the future of mobility. For car enthusiasts awaiting the Auto Expo 2025, it is going to be a must-see event for only Lexus customers but many others with a great lineup of car concepts and models.
