Mercedes-Benz has launched its new all-electric SUV - the Maybach EQS 680 in the Indian market. This is the brand's flagship electric SUV which is priced at Rs 2.25 crore (ex-showroom).
From the design perspective, the EQS 680 highlights a massive closed-off front grille. The front fascia has a Black panel radiator shell with vertical pinstripes, connected LED heights and taillamps, and Maybach-specific details.
On inside, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS comes with a massive 56-inch MBUX hyperscreen spreading across the dashboard. Other premium features include a hot & cold massage function15-speaker Burmester 4D surround sound system, Nappa leather seats, active ambient lighting, rear entertainment screens, infotainment controls at the rear, and a refrigerator with champagne flute glasses.
In terms of safety, the luxury electric SUV gets multiple airbags, traction control, EBD, ADAS, 360-degree camera, and more.
Under the hood, the EQS 680 houses a 107.8kWh battery pack paired to dual electric motors. This unit can provide the maximum power of 649 bhp and 950 Nm of torque. It also gets 4MATIC AWD. Besides, it can offer a claimed range of 600 km.
Tata Motors will launch the new Sierra ICE and EV before the end of this year - Harrier EV launch expected in May-June 2025.
