German automobile giant BMW has debuted the 2025 3 Series sedan lineup with updates ranging from the exterior to under the hood. We expect the car to hit the India showrooms later this year.
The outside gets subtle updates in the form of reworked headlight clusters, 19-inch Y-shaped alloy wheels in dual tone and two new metallic paint schemes Arctic Race Blue and Fire Red, the latter being reserved for M Sport.
Notable updates follow in the cabin with two-spoke (330i) and flat-bottom three-spoke (M340i and 330i M) steering wheels, ambient lighting around the air vents’ circumference and iDrive display with BMW 8.5 OS. The infotainment unit gets a simplified interface as well.
Out of the three powertrains on offer, the 330e plug-in hybrid houses a bigger 19.5 kWh battery (previously 12 kWh) with an EV-only range of over 101 kilometres and 11 kW fast charging support. The total output from the 2-litre turbo petrol and e-motor setup is 292 horsepower. On the other hand, the 3 Series ICE variants get a 48-volt starter generator pushing out an extra 11 hp besides the 2 and 3-litre blocks, including the M340i.
BMW sells the 3 Series Gran Limousine and 3 Series M340i in India at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 60.60 lakh and Rs. 72.90 lakh, respectively.
