BMW has revealed the 2025 X3 SUV globally. The latest model features a fresh design, a range of new features and new drivetrain options. The German automaker is likely to officially sell the new BMW X3 in the United States by the end of this year. Later, it can be launched in the Indian market in 2025.
The latest X3 model introduces a new design language from the brand and offers two variants - 30 xDrive and M50 xDrive.
From the design perspective, the X3 30 trim features a larger kidney grille with vertical & diagonal bars, full LED headlights, sleeker tail lights, and 19-inch alloy trims as standard (with the choice of 20-inch and 21-inch). The L-shaped indicators in the headlights work as the DRLs, turn signals, and side markers.
The M50 trim has an M-specific illuminated kidney grille with horizontal bars, quad tailpipes, M Sport brakes, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The BMW X3 comes with optional Alcantara upholstery, adjustable heated sports seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, curved dual displays running the BMW's new iDrive 9 system and a massive boot space of 891 litres.
The X3 30 xDrive is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine with a 48V mild-hybrid setup. The overall power output of this setup stands at 255 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Transmission options include an 8-speed Steptronic automatic.
As for the M50 xDrive, it gets a larger 3.0-litre i6 strong hybrid engine. Mated with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic gearbox, the engine can produce the maximum power of 393 bhp with 582 Nm of torque.
In terms of pricing, the 2025 X3 30 xDrive stands at $50,675 (Rs 42.27 lakh) and $65,275 (Rs 54.45 lakh) for the sportier X3 M50 xDrive.
